Why the awards exist
The short-term rental industry has matured fast in the UAE, yet no credible, independent awards programme existed to recognise the operators driving it forward. Established programmes sit in London and Las Vegas — none speak to this market, its regulation, or its operators.
We built this to fill that gap properly. Not a pay-to-win badge, not a vendor showcase, but a genuine standard: outcomes that can be verified, work that can be judged by peers, and recognition that actually means something.
Who runs it
The STR Club Awards are organised by The STR Club — the community for short-term rental professionals in the UAE. The programme is run independently of any single operator or vendor.
Performance is judged on the 2025 calendar year. For operator and revenue categories, The STR Club verifies every submitted claim against independent data sources — AirDNA, PriceLabs, DET data, and public records. Operators don't have to assemble evidence packs; we do the research. Jury-judged categories are scored by an independent jury, and the Industry Pioneer award is voted on by verified members.
